Agnieszka Kotlarsic to Lead 2026 Polish Constitution Day Parade as Marshall

A Leader Rooted in Polish Traditions

Agnieszka Kotlarsic

2026 Polish Constitution Day Parade Marshal

Agnieszka Kotlarsic is a dedicated leader of Cleveland’s Polish-American community, serving as Director and Choreographer of the “Piast” Polish Folk Song and Dance Ensemble. Born in Poland, where she completed her university education and performed with various folk ensembles, she brought her passion for Polish culture and tradition to the United States after immigrating in the mid-1990s.

Since her arrival, Ms. Kotlarsic has been a driving force behind the continued growth and success of “Piast,” inspiring generations of young dancers and preserving Poland’s rich cultural heritage through music and dance. Under her leadership, “Piast” has remained a vibrant presence at community events, most notably performing annually in the Polish Constitution Day Parade—an effort she has overseen for nearly three decades.

In addition to her artistic leadership, Ms. Kotlarsic is a devoted educator at the Henryk Sienkiewicz Polish School, where she continues to instill pride in Polish language, history, and traditions.

Her contributions have been widely recognized. In 2020, she was honored with the title of Grand Lady of Pulaski by the Polonia Foundation of Ohio, and in 2023, she received the Foundation’s prestigious Heritage Award.

Through her lifelong commitment to cultural preservation and community engagement, Agnieszka Kotlarsic embodies the spirit of Polish heritage in Northeast Ohio. The Polish American Congress, Ohio Division is proud to recognize her as the 2026 Polish Constitution Day Parade Marshal.
