We are thrilled to announce that Ewa Wiechec, the esteemed Director of the Henryk Sienkiewicz Polish School, will honor us as the Grand Marshal at this year's Polish Constitution Anniversary Day Parade in Parma, Ohio. This event, a cornerstone of our community's cultural celebrations, will take place on May 5, 2024, commemorating the historic adoption of the Polish Constitution of 1791, one of the oldest constitutions in the world.
Ewa Wiechec has been a pivotal figure in our community, dedicated to promoting Polish culture and education. Under her leadership, the Henryk Sienkiewicz Polish School has flourished, becoming a vibrant center where young and old alike can immerse themselves in the richness of Polish traditions and language. Her commitment to our heritage makes her the perfect choice to lead this year’s parade.
The parade will step off at 2:00 PM from Parma Circle and will proceed through the heart of Parma, ending in the heart of Polish Village. Following the parade, a festive celebration will take place in the parking lot of the Unity Catholic Federal Credit Union located at 5839 Ridge Road. This festival will feature traditional Polish food, spirits, music, and dance performances, providing a perfect way to celebrate our history and culture in a joyful and community-centric atmosphere.
